Week 2 Manifesto: Body, Mind & Soul
This week is about building anchors. Simple rules that keep me aligned in body, mind, and soul. Keystone habits that, when practiced consistently, create elegance, strength, and clarity in everyday life.
Body — Strength & Rhythm
Rule 1: Move 3-4 times.
Pilates, gym, yoga, or a brisk walk. Movement is medicine. Three to four sessions shift energy, clear the mind, and strengthen the body.
Rule 2: Prep three balanced meals.
Protein, fiber, and healthy fats. No extremes, no stress. Just mindful fuel that keeps energy steady and the body nourished.
Rule 3: Protect the morning.
Ten minutes every day for visualization and journaling. A sacred ritual to align with goals before the world intrudes.
Rule 4: Review and save.
Track spending. Choose one savings target for September. Even 500 fils to 5 KD a day builds momentum. Small amounts, big impact.
Rule 5: Walk 10,000 steps.
Every single day. A micro habit that transforms mood, energy, and clarity. Step by step, the body follows where the mind leads.
Mind — Self-Care & Boundaries
Rule 6: Protect your energy.
Not every message deserves an immediate reply. Not every invitation deserves a yes. Energy is the most valuable currency.
Rule 7: Learn to say no without guilt.
Every no to what drains you is a yes to what matters. Boundaries are elegance in practice.
Rule 8: Create space for stillness.
Ten minutes of silence, deep breath, or journaling is not optional. It’s maintenance for the mind, like brushing teeth for the soul.
Rule 9: Try one new skill or hobby.
The mind thrives on novelty. Curiosity keeps life fresh and the spirit alive.
Rule 10: Journal a daily reflection.
One page, one thought, one truth at the end of the day. Reflection sharpens awareness and turns experience into wisdom.
Rule 11: Limit digital noise.
Scroll less, connect more. Trade empty consumption for real conversations, books, or quiet reflection. Luxury is presence.
Rule 12: Treat yourself as the priority.
Self-care is not indulgence; it’s foundation. A bath, a walk, or a skincare ritual is an investment in clarity, resilience, and beauty — inside and out.
Soul — Digital Wellness & Presence
Rule 13: No phone for 30 minutes a day.
Silence the noise. Reclaim a pocket of time to think, breathe, and simply be.
Rule 14: Unfollow 5–10 people weekly.
Curate your digital world with intention. Keep only what inspires, educates, or uplifts.
Rule 15: Delete 2 apps.
If it drains more than it adds, it doesn’t belong. Create space for clarity.
Rule 16: Delete 20–50 photos weekly.
Declutter the gallery. Every cleared image makes room for memories that truly matter.
Rule 17: Start listening to podcasts while walking.
Feed the mind as the body moves. Pair curiosity with movement — this is habit stacking at its finest.
Rule 18: Practice mindful breathing during one meal a day.
Put the phone aside. Breathe slowly. Taste each bite. Luxury is presence at the table.
Rule 19: Enjoy every bite.
Food is not just fuel (its ritual). Slow down, savor, and let meals become moments of gratitude.
Rule 20: Start habit stacking.
Layer simple habits: a podcast with a walk, deep breathing with a meal, journaling with tea. One anchor creates another.
